    hi I'm new to rat and cant seem to get it working.i installed the files in the mod folder that I'm supposed to on the ftp where my server is hosted.telnet is enabled in my config file.i input my server ip and telnet pass and port but light stays yellow then goes red.not sure what I'm doing wrong. I rent a server from gameservers.com any help would be appreciated thanks

    it sounds like you might be using the wrong ports.

    Make sure that in RAT, on the Remote Tab, you have the same telnet port there, as you do in your serverconfig.xml file for the telnet port.

    Also in RAT, check the console tab, and then see if there are any errors/etc there. Then change the dropdown on that tab to "RAT Logs" and see if there are any problems there too. Paste me anything you have and I'll help more. =)

    I am in the same boat here, I have a rented server from gameservers.com and it goes yellow, and in the console will show my server info, but in the rat logs, it says "no data to receive from the telnet stream" and i checked my server config, and the telenet is set to true
